I love this especially with your approach of seeing the games through the eyes of a fan- count me in!

This sounds fun! I’m not a football fan (this is football right?). Joking aside, I like the idea of reading/hearing about your enjoyment of 1-82 basketball games!

I was a sports-oriented kid —playing third grade kickball with the boys rather than jumping rope with the girls, I threw a mean football spiral, I won swim races at summer camp. I was also really good at math until geometry, which my brain wasn’t wired for. And my body wasn’t wired for basket ball. Both frustrated the heck out of me.

Watching basket ball, however, is a joy. I think because it’s truly a team sport where all players on the court play a role. It’s a community game.

My goal is to come over to watch 2 of the 82 with you!

A lot of my life revolves around football/soccer both as a parent with 2 kids who play and a welsh husband who is a life long Liverpool fan, so I appreciate this. I feel kindred love for the warriors as I do Liverpool, and can find it hard to self regulate my emotions while watching the games. We also recently fell in love with Oakland roots, so we are deep in it. Looking forward to learning about what your connection and experience is.

Love this! Is it too late or too soon to complain about GP2 being traded?

I hope this inspires you to write some interesting thoughts. I’m a basketball fan but 82 games? Good luck with your journey!

I know! It's a bit extreme. (that's not counting the UConn and UofM games that I will also watch)
